Sports Recycler Ltd is a not for profit social enterprise founded in 2005 to promote a healthier lifestyle, encourage recycling, provide services for the benefit of the community and offer training and work experience for people who are disadvantaged in the mainstream job market. The Company takes donations of unwanted cycles and refurbishes them for low cost sale and re-use in the community. Sports Recycler sells a full range of recycled bike parts. The office and workshops are based at South Shields Business Works in South Shields; PLEASE PHONE BEFORE VISITING TO CHECK OPENING HOURS. Sports Recycler receives no funding and all income earned goes into keeping the business going to provide services for the community. The Company was founded and is managed and run by unwaged workers. When you use our services you contribute towards keeping the business going so that we can continue to offer those services.
