^{Sports Recycler is a social enterprise providing affordable physical activity equipment, and designing and delivering inclusive recreational pursuits to individuals and families, clubs, and community groups and organisations in the North East of England. We actively encourage public engagement with the development of Sports Recycler and its products through open membership, equipment and information exchange, and partnership in the delivery of services.}

We are able to help build the confidence and awareness of individuals and groups for them to become well informed of our natural environment and heritage and to lead more active lives for benefit to themselves and to wider society.}

^{The Sports Recycler Team is constantly looking for innovative ways to encourage healthy pursuits, and ones which actively work with the environment. The latest project is a small fleet of ecocyclers which can be seen giving leisure/pleasure rides along our foreshore and at events. An ecocycler is a rickshaw-type vehicle consisting of a bicycle at the front with a rider pulling a maximum of three passengers behind. The ecocyclers come equipped with safety belts, a canopy to shield passengers from the sun, and plastics covers to protect them from the harsher weather. Response from local people to the ecocyclers has been very exciting, and bodies such as South Tyneside Council, Bangla Dreams, Jarrow Neighbourhood Management Scheme and The Great North Forest, have used an ecocycler at their events. The ecocyclers are excellent both for leisure rides by the beach in the warmer months, as well as at events be they promotional or celebratory, and are for hire at very reasonable rates with a rider. Amongst our eco-friendly population there is a growing tendency to use them for weddings, and the ecocyclers dress up beautifully to fit any occasion.}
